Farriers Challenge 2023 Kit List

No Reflective Wear = No Event!

The event can be wet, cold and windy, dress and have equipment appropriate for the event.
We perform a kit check at the start of the event and reserve the right to refuse you access to the event if you don’t have the correct kit.

Individual Kit:

Suitable clothing for the weather
Trousers (NO JEANS!)
Sweater/ Warm top
Coat and or Waterproof top
Waterproof bottoms recommended (weather depending)
Walking Boots or Suitable sturdy footwear.
Torch and spare batteries
Rucksack
Water Bottle (with drink) also to use at the end to get a drink.
Snacks
High Visibility Reflective Safety Wear. – Hi Vis Jackets are best.

This must be able to be seen front and back when you are wearing your rucksack

Team Kit:

First Aid Kit suitable for minor cuts, blisters ect.
Map OS 168 and Compass minimum 1 per team
Mobile Phone number to be registered with the
